Damn it Herman, initially I thought this was stupid. Then I really thought about it, you’re onto something here…
Do you really feel like you have more control? I would think that it would make it a little more awkward.
I thought that too Tim, but as a lefty I find that when I’m doing pole work (particularly with the Wagtail squeegee) that I use my upper (right) hand as the control. Hmmm. I think it’s worth playing around with…it would also allow the lower hand, wrist, arm to act simply as support…
I think this would require some rethinking, and some getting use to- but it seems much more ergonomic. I’m a lefty, as well, and I find my upper hand (right hand) suffers quite a bit of strain in certain circumstances. This would force you to use a more natural, ergonomic position. When I think about it, my upper hand is usually in a very unnatural position.

I had this idea running though my head since last fall. I have one bad wrist and while doing a large wfp job my wrist started hurting and I thought that there’s gotta be a more ergonomic way to hold a wfp. I pictured a handle attachment but more like a shovel handle.
i encourage you to go forward with this mod, makes a lot of sense.

Just have to make it so it moves around on the pole while using it (the handle without slipping up or down.)
And the handle attached it pivots up/down freely.
Making it easier to use your pole and at the same time have better control also.[/FONT][/SIZE]

The handle attachment now swivels both side ways and also up/down.

maybe a sickle type handle ? your handle looks like support handle for a hand drill ?

It was just a matter of making it so the handle turns and goes up/ down.
Been using it on house windows today.
