Video Tip - Carrying a Sprayer Bottle

I like carrying a sprayer bottle with me as I work, but sometimes it falls off and I make a mess and loose my cleaner so here is an idea I came up with using a tool holder from Home Depot - Bigg Lugg2 Tool Carrying System item #237 666 $7.95.

If you have a better idea I would love to hear it.

Thanks, Wayne

Great tip Wayne! Thanks!

Awesome tip!

Thanks Wayne!

P.S. You’re getting pretty good at these videos, keep up the good work.

I use a no-brand one all the time attached to my drill, when I have to work on houses with solar screens. They’re really handy

Thanks for sharing Wayne

Wayne-

Cool idea, but I’ve never had a bottle come open on me. Even in all the years I detailed cars for a living - I constantly had a bottle or two hanging from my pockets. I was surprised that your bottles are coming open, as it looked like a ZEP spray bottle…ZEP makes awesome stuff in my opinion. Good luck, and thanks for sharing.

A particularly enjoyed the part where you jumped around. I thought I was the only one who washed windows like I was in a mosh pit. Great video, you have a great presence!

HA - That wasn’t a seizure?!?! Just kidding Wayne - nice video.

Wayne, I like your videos so keep on making them for us. I really enjoy your contagious enthusiasm.

Thank you for all your good comments. I will continue to share more videos in the future.

Tony and Mark - As always, thank you for your great videos and tips, I always look forward to them. You have inspired me.

Dormatex- You may be right about the ones that failed (bottle opened) were cheap off brands, not ZEP. Thanks for pointing that out.

puntadigital, 5star and Nuvudude - thanks for your comments. It is always fun to share with other.

Wayne - I never thought about it until yesterday…If you are using wide neck spray bottles, then I could see them coming loose. The reason is that the threading on a wide neck bottle are less than on a standard bottle. Much like a threaded rod - whereas a 1/2" threaded rod or bolt has 13 threads per inch. But a 1" diameter bolt or threaded rod, only has 8 threads per inch. So I thought maybe that was the reason your bottles were coming loose. Something to think about…

I use an Unger ErgoTec Bottle Holder for extended use of both squeeze and spray bottles.

I’d be lost without the Unger Bottle Holster. Take it to a sewing shop and have them sew it at the velcro fastener area. The velcro just doesn’t hold up very long. The extra stitching fixes it though. Hey UNGER!!! Are You Listening???

+1 Still have the bottle holder - never used it since the velcro came undone.
