I think John uses this indoor kit more than a squeegee now on insides…
I have learned a lot in the last year about using this kit. I have found that for really bad windows with lots of finger prints and build up from HVAC to dip the washing pad in a solution of water and Ecover… Wring out and go over all the windows then follow up with dry washing pad to buff out. For me the indoor kit has helped with less bending and moving items to get to the windows and there is not water to wipe up. I rarely break out the BOAB anymore.

I just got two 2’ Unger (one for the wet pad, one for dry. I can use the Mini to reach higher glass) poles with euro thread adapters to do just this technique. I have a coffee house I am doing tomorrow, with interior windows that are only done quarterly. The windows next to the bussing station and doors are in bad shape. I am going to use a solution of 11.5 ph water with a touch of Ecover and alcohol, soak then wring the thick microfiber applicator, and scrub. I’ll fry using the a dry pad, then use the thin pad to buff if necessary. I would love to see if i can do the whole interior without the boab and squeegee. I would love that. this looks like it would only clean nearly-clean windows. Would this technique work in the home of a smoker? What about on fly poop?
i hate trying to work around the window latches that cover the bottom of the top windows, where your squeegee channel cant fit-- and would like to find an easier way to deal with these…
i wouldn’t recommend this for heavily soiled windows, especially smoke residue. i carry a green nylex brush in my bucket at all times and it really helps to break up nicotine stains on glass.

The solution you have or do you ALSO break out the bronze wool or scraper or extra cleaning power products?
Regularly cleaned windows are always easier to clean.
With ANY window cleaning system extra dirty windows will need extra attention ( and equipment)
