About 28 seconds per plate is OK. Could be shaved by about 10 seconds with a 36 inch squeegee. Or a 30 inch. What I want to know is HOW you got a Subway!!!
Subway, Starbucks, and Lowes is no mans land… Oh am I forgetting CVS? Wait, they hold onto those cleaning service middleman consultants that never seem to know they need to hire window cleaners…
I dunno, I saw this video more as an informational type thing. I’ve got the wagtail down pretty well, but I can NOT go all the way down with it like that. Maybe I should practice it because the wagtail = zero detailing for me. My 18" comes close, but my 24" squeegees seem to require the most detailing.
I had one Subway as a weekly account, but they moved into a convenient store.
He’s got skills with that tool, that’s for sure.

Can’t deny the skill factor here. I remember practicing for an hour one night fanning with an 18 inch 0 angle Unger Swivel totally loose. Thought I was pretty awesome. Then I watched Henry Unger do it at a show. He was one good window cleaner. I wish we still had him. He’d be about 82 now I figure.

Why not pull all the way to the bottom instead of all that fanning with the pole?
I think it’s like any of those hard to get jobs in one area and not in another. Because I do 10 subways for a private owner in my area.

Hey Chad! I used to live in Paducah, over near Paxton Park Golf Course. I have a farm across the river over in Southern Illinois in Saline County. We should get together next time I am coming through that area
That’s cool. Yeah sure.

I agree on area. Would love to see a study of the different franchise stores and the best way to market to them.
Also technique has always been of interest to me. There are variations of the straight pull that are very fast. Having different sized squeegees helps a lot. I carry a three foot on one route. Some jobs with huge windows only require two pulls. The big tools help a LOT on dealerships.
