Vinyl window question

I ran into a situation where a customer has the ‘Florida’ style vinyl windows in their sunroom. She loves to water her plants and also felt the need to hose down her patio screens, in the process spraying 250tds hard water.

The window panels were coated heavily with deposits. I managed to scrub some off but wanted to check with you guys if anyone has success getting these clean without damage.

When they are like that, I tell the customer that nothing aggressive can be used since it’ll scratch them. The cleaning is just removal of surface dirt on those.

I’ve had good luck with barkeepers friend and white scrubbies. Dip my mop in the bucket, squirt bkf on the glass a decent amount, mop the whole window, let it soak for just a bit (like a minute), maybe soak a few at a time, then re-wet and scrub away. Maybe this is too tough for that, I don’t know, but I charge $25 a pane when it’s bad, $5-10 a pane if it is light and will only take 5-10 minutes to clean.

Yup !! And on the estimate too.
