Vote on our new logo design!

Hi all! Recently I changed the name of my business and business structure to Restore Cleaning LLC. I went with 99 designs to do the logo for like 300 bucks but was worth it imo. Now is your chance to help me out, if you would kindly click on the link below and leave comments I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

Thanks Buzz, was that the straight water drop or the light blue mountain?

So several of the logo designs have a PW Wand incorporated. Then there is one with a small squeegee incorporated in the wording. Two very different messages are interpreted as your truck drives by and grandma Smith has about 2.25 seconds to glance at it. One logo says: We Power Wash. One logo says: We clean windows. Do you do both ? Obviously. But not by looking at the logo. Your logo doesn’t have to specifically convey all of your services, but by the same token, you don’t want people to glance at a logo, and in their mind exclude a service either. Just a thought. Good luck and share with us your final design.

They are neat and clean but keep them very simple ( not too busy )

Jeff

Thanks for the input Jeff, and that is a really good point. I think if i did go with that one i would put a pressure washer gun on there.

The first one, 323. Clean and eye catching.

I don’t think a tool should ever be part of a logo design.

That is odd. Look how many logos for cleaning companies use a toll in theirs. https://www.google.com/search?q=cleaning+logo&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjBn9CIoKDLAhUEJh4KHUkqCxwQsAQIHA&biw=1359&bih=689&dpr=0.8

Exactly.

When I hired a commercial artist to create my logo, I gave her two instructions: No squeegee and no pane of glass. I didn’t want anything predictably obvious and I didn’t want my logo to look like anybody else’s.

On another related note: I’m not surprised to see clipart used by do-it-yourself company owners but I’m constantly amazed to see logos designed by “professional” artists use the same clipart that any of us can find online.

I voted for the design with the three triangles. I liked that it was compact.

Number three. The one with a crosshair(?) on the middle mountain

Crosshair equals window. Than you for the input

How else would you communicate what you do?

Business name, website, vehicle graphics, marketing materials, business cards, your mouth. Stuff like that.

I meant in a logo where some people are going to take a quick glimpse at it

The purpose of a logo is not to communicate what we do. It is to identify who we are. Apple, McDonald’s and Nike, to name only a few, all have logos that do not tell us what they do. We can’t match their advertising budgets but we can learn from what they do.
