I’m looking for information on Cal OSHA regulations for working on flat roof tops when there is no guard railing installed.
Is there a certain distance you have to be from the edge without needing a harness? How are you supposed to ladder onto a roof without coming up over the edge?
How do you follow code to access the exterior of the second floor windows when they are directly above the first floor roof?
I’m not worried about it, but the safety officer at the building we’re working at is. They would rather not have all the windows cleaned then to have them done in violation of OSHA
