Hey! I’m 13 and started a window cleaning business last year and just got a water fed zero pole and it’s great I’ve been trying it out looking at tutorials etc. but when I go to clean them with the right technique the water just stays on the window and leaves spots?
Another question I have is I have a hose and I just connect it where it says in the di system and screw the pole to the out one (not the bad water one I’m sure) and it just isn’t putting out that much water compared to other videos btw I have a single tank thing
Any feedback appreciated thanks.
You need to test your water output with a TDS meter which should cost you about $20… You want the TDS on a new system to range within 0-5… You can go spot free up to 10… Also, you may be going to high on the upper frames dragging debris, oxidation or minerals down onto you glass surface. Make sure your rinse is thorough and stay off the area above the top frame… With a single tank you shouldnt expect the water to be blasting out. It also depends on the pressure coming from your water source and the distance and height you are pushing the water from your tank. You should expect less projection in cold temps. I use a small pump between my water source and my tank. Also, not sure how many jobs you are accumulating but you need to run your tank at least once or twice every couple weeks to avoid algae type build up which can impede flow and performance. After use I make sure to cap my system off so it doesnt purge and dry out. Keep the membrane in a wet state. Also get the TDS meter like I said… The water source you are using may be too hard… Check your reading from source first then compare to post tank output. If your water source is well water, it will make it more difficult to purify and shorten the life of your membrane. Window frames that are exposed to sunlight for long durations of the day will pose more possibilities for streaking and spots(as you rinse it can look milky) these windows will require extra rinsing and carefulness to stay away from the frames as they wll just continue to milk out.
