My pole hose is always a mess to wind it up. How do others deal with this ? How do others deal with hose form like a 40 to 60 foot pole?
Check out Rhino-Tube its very easy to manage:

You can see @Perry_Tait and I playing with it here:
Using a hose reel is the easiest and most efficient way to handle hose.
Yes it’s a pain, but no pain, no…pane lol
We use extension cord reels.Works well, and you get about 150’ of 5/16 hose on each one.
We have Cox reels on our trucks. 3 total. One for the 3/4" hose and 2 others for the wfp hose. 300’ of hose per reel.
I’m talking about the hose that goes up the pole and dealing with the extra when the pole is collpased, weather the tube is on the inside or outside, and weather your using reels or not for the long part. I working on solution makes it easy to Store the Pole Tube on the Pole. My idea could maybe hold 100feet and no reel. My method is way easlier than winding it up in 1 foot circle, or bungee cords etc. Like a 60 ft pole would have 60ft plus 20? more.
The best way to handle it is the way Buz light year said to do. Use a John guest fitting so you could unattach it , an Reattach it .
You could run it straight off a reel if you wanted …to another John guest
+1 Chris’ suggestion. These little guys hold a surprising amount of pole hose. I have about 180 feet of 8 mm pole hose on this as a back up.
This is my main reel. It holds about 300 feet of 8mm pole hose. I think I could put 400-450 on it. It’s compact and well made for a cheap reel.
Love the size comparison, using the pin and a cell phone!
