Werner 22 ft telescoping ladder

I really want to but this ladder as it seems to really fit the job function all in one ladder. Have any of you used this ladder or currently using the ladder? What do you think of the ladder? Is it feel stable for 2 story homes? Thanks all!

Have I used this ladder yes. Do I currently use this ladder no. It’s a decent entry level ladder for someone just starting out it’s versatile and sturdy. And cheep. But also a very heavy ladder. It can make u some money so u can buy a real ladder that is a true window cleaning ladder. A sectional ladder.

Thank you Neal. I am in fact still new for the moat part. I have been in business now for 8 months. Why are yhe sectional ladders so highly thought of? Is it the weight?

Here and in the industry.
You have those which swear by a-frame ladders for versatility etc…

Where things can and do get off to “Ladder Wars !!!”

Then you have the other’s which say " Your only a true window cleaner when you have and use only a sectional ladder"
Some have and use both, while some only use a sectional ladder.

Don’t get off in the weeds. Buy a A-frame werner or LG or extension ladder whichever you feel will be good for you to use starting out.
Then add any other ladder type as you build and grow in the business. Because you will find what works best for you and how you work.

Thanks for the advice golden!

Well I would suggest you get the Werner that’s what I did starting out. It’s a good versatile ladder. That u will always be able to use. Even when u decide to get other ladders. I have been cleaning windows for 11 years. What I like about my sectional is the functionality of it. Going in a house to get high windows no problem. Using it outside no problem. Getting to crazy places u can’t very easily put an extension ladder into. Oh yeah.

I have a 24’ Werner extension ladder because I also do gutter cleaning and power washing. I would love sectional ladders but spending another $1000 on a ladder when I have a perfectly functioning ladder I can’t bring myself to do it.

Mike you brought up a good point. I also do pw amd gutters. So I think I will just spend the 200 on the werner and see how it works.

If you’re doing windows you might get away with a 17. If you’re doing gutters maybe the 22 is more better. Or an extension.

The 17 is my main ladder but I have a 22 as backup.

As long as I’ve been cleaning windows I’ve used a 24’ extension ladder, and occasionally a 32’ but that is very rare.

I’ve used sectionals in the past, i loved them just for window cleaning, unfortunately just doing window cleaning isn’t something I can do and make a decent living.

As far as residential window cleaning goes, I hardly ever need anything larger than a 24’ extension ladder for WC/GC/PW jobs. I think my 24’ ladder was like $225 and I bought a standoff for it for another $50, best investment for sure.

Yeah I have a 32 and a small 16 so I need something that os easyer to use for 2nd storey windows.

So after going to Home Depot and looking at the 22 for ladder I decided not to get it as it looks like it isn’t tall enough to get over two story windows. I am going with a standard 24 foot extention ladder instead to make sure I have the hight I need for the second story.

Thanks all for your inputs and experiences.

If their was a way to attach levelers to it, I’d get one. I think it would be a great ladder in tight spaces or stair cases. I myself love my stack ladder. It can pretty much handle every situation. Except the time I had to bring a 32’ inside a resi for some skylights.
Every ladder has its purpose. I know sectional ladders are expensive but they really are the most versatile ladder available. Especially working inside people’s homes.
