Wfp brush

To everyone using wfp. What brushes have you used, which ones do you prefer using, and why? Thanks ahead of time.

I love the scrubbing power of a boars hair brush. Of all the mono filament brushes I’ve used I really like the Tucker brushes (not a fan of the pole though). I have used the RHG, Vikan, and Simpole mono filaments as well.

Boars hair for 1- and 2- story first-time dirty cleans. Boars hair is too heavy higher.

My go-to is Vikan mono – great for maintenance and not-too-dirty cleans.

I use Gardiner Superlight brushes for 3-story and above due light weight.

My most used is the Vikan mono. I also like the Tucker and Simpole boars hair

My most used brush is the RHG boars hair brush. Sometimes I use my Gardiner superlight nylon brush because I have heard that it is easier to do cut ups with a nylon brush. This seems to be true.

Any experience with the radial or sill brushes?

I use a vikin sill brush. It works pretty good. I like the curve of the brush as it’s name implies it works the sills pretty good when you can’t see them, IE 2nd floor and above. Also the curve of the brush helps when experience is lacking from a new helper. They do not have to worry too much about the angle of the pole in relation to how the brush is touching the glass. With a standard brush you need to keep it flat against the glass to get the proper results. I do find the curve to be a pain when it comes to the 2 to 3 inches of space under the top sash. If you dont correct your angle you will see problems in that area. Last year I changed the “Rules” for using the brush heads. Any window with a sash must use a standard brush. Flat glass like casements or large plates can use the vikin.

I’m thinking about trying out the new Simpole radius brush. If I do I’ll let you know.
