Here’s a few pics of a big place we do that has all true divided lights in and out. It takes the 2 of us 8 hrs and only 3 of that is outside.
Nice… thats looks like an awesome job!
Turned out awesome too! I posted a short video of me on one of the windows.
Nice lookin gig Tony. Must have had vinyl frames huh? Most of those that have painted wood will not come out with the wfp for me around here. I’ve got one in a few weeks similar to that one that we have never done and the lady tells me that has not been cleaned in about 5 years. Like always I’ll bust them out with the wfp and see how they shape up.
Man, that looks like alot of windows for you and your wife to do in 8 hours total. She must be a machine with a squeegee!
Judging by the video — those look like internal grids. A True divided light refers to windows in which multiple individual panes of glass or lights are assembled in the sash using muntins. As I’m sure a guy like you is aware.
Those were TDL’s not internal grills.
Gotcha.
I would have said, “Sorry we only clean outsides!”
hey tony. i was wondering, what you get $$$ for a house that size in Iowa
Just under $1000
Tony how long exactly did that house take you to do the interiors.
4 1/2 hrs w/ both of us working. On the outs Mrs. Squeegee helps w/ the hose and switching poles when needed. The outs were 3 hrs w/ setting up and tearing down.
So, technically the wfp did not cut your time in 1/2? it only saved you 1.5 hours???
You are so drunk!
I am asking a question…
BTW, i havent had a drink since March 22 2009
Not quite true Doug. Since my wife could only help a little on the outs it was like having 1 and a half people whereas on the ins she was working on one level while I did another. That made each hour inside worth 2 man hours and the outs were at 1 1/2 man hrs that means 5.25 man hrs out and 8 to 9 hrs inside. That’s a difference of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hrs. Of course I’ve done this job once w/ ladders and it took 8 hrs to do the outs. So apples to apples the wfp saved me 4 1/2 hrs (more than half)!!!
GAWD>>>>>>>>>>>>>
How many cut ups/french panes are on that house?
I never bothered to count.
how do you bid those kinda jobs then?
I count the windows and charge my price per pane for cut ups while balancing that w/ what I want per hr.
I thought you wanted to know ow many individual cut ups there were.
