What are you using

So, we’re getting a lot of gutter whitening requests from property managers this year, more than expected, which is awesome. In the past we’ve always used a mix of f-13, sh, and water. But we’ve had two properties lately that were extremely difficult. Just curious what your using and how you’re doing it. We typically full a bucket and brush from the ground, or fill a sprayer, apply, scrub, rinse. With a dwell time about 5 minutes or so. Usually works pretty well, but the last two have been crazy difficult. Are you using different chems, applying it different? Just curious to find a better way.
Thanks
Josh

Ive used somthing as simple as some pre mixed simple green spray it on agitate it with a soft brush and hose it off.

Wlhen I run into bad caked on and baked on green algae/black mildew on outside guttes, I increase SH in the solution. The worst ones I hit multiple times before scrubbing.

Yup I did just this yesterday except I poured straight SH in a jBucket a little soap and water dipped my brush, an just ran over the gutters came right off

Good work.

I put gutter grenade in a 1 gallon pump up sprayer. The lower gutters I just spray directly on them scrub. The upper gutters I spray on my brush then scrub

Do you make your own sauce or do you buy premixed stuff somewhere?

You have to elaborate on that a little more. Do you mean do I pre-mix the gutter grenade if so yes , if it runs out ya I just make another batch there . I’m a big pump sprayer fan. I have 2 … 1 gallon sprayers one with a stronger mix then the other that way if one Isn’t cutting it I go with the other. I have to pick up another sprayer for a bleach mix for stuff that needs a stronger solution than my house wash so all I have to do is spray it directly to the substrate or on my brush when needed.

This fence wouldn’t budge with my house wash mix

Do you buy your own jugs of SH from the store and mix with water and soap for the most cost effective way, or do you buy a proprietary blend of cleaner like 30 seconds, or powerwash.com’s gutter grenade and dilute accordingly?

It came out beautifully.

Looks good Mike!

But i got say with the dirty gate the “BEWARE OF DOG” looks more threatening!
