When I load my truck up in the morning i just throw a garbage bag full of them in my truck. But it gets messy when i just throw the used ones back in. I was thinking about using laundry baskets? Anyone have any input? Thanks
I keep my clean ones in a rubbermaid bin in the truck. When they get dirty I just throw them in a pile in the bed. Then, when I get home, I put all the dirty ones in a bin until I have enough to wash them.
Rubbermaid for clean, bucket for the dirty, walk them in the house and wash.
Ditto
I have deep plastic tubs that I partially fill with clean towels. As the day goes on I’ll put all the clean into one and start filling the other with dirty ones to bring in for laundering.
just throw em in the truck
Same as Dan, but with 5 gallon buckets. 1st empty bucket of the day becomes the dirty rag/dropcloth bucket.
same here, morning clean basket becomes the dirty basket and take them in every day to wash.
I keep clean folded stacked hucks in a 6-gallon bucks (with other items.)
I keep dirty hucks in either a 5- or 6-gallon bucket, dependent upon quantity used, though I also combine other dirty items with them (cheepo Costco microfibers, sleeves, etc.)
My trucks have oversized military bags stuffed with clean rags. Used, dirty rags get put into a 5 gallon bucket and then put into a rag/trash bin at the end of the day.
We use rubbermaid bins… the dirty ones go in to…As they sometimes just fly out the back of the truck when they are loose.
Clean towels are kept in the bedbox, dirty towels go in a rubbermaid, or a pilfered supermarket basket.
I have the clean ones folded neatly behind the seats in my truck. Dirty ones get put in a 5 gal bucket for when I get home. Since I got my scrim, I use a whole lot less huck.
We use a plastic bin for the clean ones and put the dirty towels in a mesh laundry bag with a draw string. The laundry bag keeps the towels from just sitting in the bed and possibly losing a few on the freeway. The bags are only a few bucks and get emptied in a bin at the shop at the end of the day.
Same here.
you have time to neatly fold your rags!!
I have to. I only have a Ford Ranger single cab, they gotta go somewhere. I don’t want them in the trailer really, and I only have maybe 30 in my truck- with the 3 scrim I have, I don’t use the huck very often. I do it on the weekends, and my wife is the one that cleans and folds them so all I have to do is put them behind the seats. She’s a keeper!
I do, too. Being organized and neat saves time later when on the job. I keep neatly folded hucks in my Unger pouch while in a home or business.
What I need to bite the bullet on is neatly folding my sheets and bath towels. I don’t want to take the time during work, but it sure would help.
+1…but I cant get mine to walk…
