who did you speak to with your price? how did you find them?
The closest thing I see is sidewalk/walkway pressure washing.
Look elsewhere.
there is a ton of neglected glass down here.
You sure do love that logo don’t you!
Perhaps your in the wrong line of work.
You could easily start a website called wwuu.miamisucks.com or wwuu.ihatemiami.com or my personal favorite wwuu.effmiamicausetheyareabunchofdirtybastardswhowontpaymeadamnpennytowashtheireffingwindows.com, well you get the idea.
Anyways, you could come up with neat shirt and logo designs and sell them to other dissatisfied Miami…ans…ites.
Not as much as s/he loves whining, eh?
I agree. Plenty of people here have given great advice and tried to engage this person in order to help him, yet he continually ignores the questions or responses given, and comes back on here bashing Miami.
I won’t waste anymore time trying to treat this person as a legitimate window cleaner who needs help. This guy just likes to whine and get attention. Always throwing up his logo for all to see…
He’s like a car wreck-- you don’t want to watch, but you can’t stop from looking.
From the other thread.
And?
Others’ words mean nothing. Quir crying, put together a plan (see Chris’s post about growth mode), and get to work.
I think I actually have a snapshot of it, I may have already put it here somewhere.
I find this thread ridiculous. It’s like a movie that you think has ended, only to start again…and again…
If you have new questions, after using the search feature, you really should start a new post that is appropriately titled and placed in the proper forum/sub-forum. Instead of just asking a completely new and unrelated question in an old thread.
I realize you have two threads here and you are heavily invested in both of them, but starting a new one is good for everyone.
I’m going to have to disagree
Their lawyers prolly advise a one-size-fits-all policy for insurance requirements. Makes things easy on their side.
What does your insurance agency say about raising yours for just the specific job?
That comes out to like $1.28 per window. Really cheap even for ground floor or just one or two stories up. I do a Fresh Market ground floor windows and doors for $1.15 per surface and I only use a small ladder to make it easy to get around things.
If they don’t want to, or can’t, pay a real price for real work then move on and find another client. A quarter of the way through you will realize that the work sucks for that amount of money and you likely won’t do a good job. That will be your name that you put on it. I think people know when you bid too low and bid too high. Price it for the work that it is worth.
Another option is offer to do a section or a few floors at a time to save them money all at once. If you need work then work is work.
It’s just sad that someone would risk their life for $1.20 per pane
Here is the thing. They do not have “one size fits all”, they have several categories, window cleaning being in the highest one:
Okay, so they have four-sizes-fits-all (same thing.)
I don’t know if you’re cleaning any windows, but your many posts indicate a need to learn how to be a business owner and marketing student (as do many) to succeed.
yeah
