What is the best water fed pole and DI system to buy?

I’m in a little bit of a different situation. I want everything to fit in my Dodge Grand Caravan because it’s a double duty vehicle right now (work/family). I don’t want to have a ladder rack on the top and so far so good (I have a 23 foot sectional in the van). I’m wondering about the length and the Reach-IT extensions… anyone carrying them around INSIDE the van. Anyone have a full blown window cleaning Grand Caravan WITHOUT a dedicated work/ladder rack on the top?

A friend of mine bought the Gardiner 47’ Xtreme WFP so that it is always one pole, one piece, no extensions. It fits nicely in his Transit Connect and in my Caravan as well.

… I bought the Reach - it pro, and now I have to buy a new van…lol. It’s too long for my Astro van which has
a wall between cab and cargo. Since I mostly do 2-3 story I keep the bottom 2 sections separate along with the xt.
The sections I use most, now tuck in nicely along the wall where the curve of the van gives more room.

Yeah I used DI only on that last job and I got another coming up in two days. Do I stick with DI or do I run it thought the three stage process? I guess the three stage process is best for high ppm?

Using RO will save you 90% your DI cost, so it is relative - If you use $50 resin a week, you can save $45 a week… Wash-iT PRO is a no-brainer!

If you use $10 RESIN a week, you can save $9 a week - it may be as easy to stay DI ONLY!

I’ve used only DI for over a year now, I don’t see too much of a benefit on buying an expensive RO/DI setup.

I only use my WFP on residential work, there is almost nothing that can go wrong. If something goes wrong it’s not a very hard problem to solve since I keep my set up simple.

You could cut a hole in the bulkhead, for the pole to pass through.

Okay so I need advise tonight. Big wfp job tomorrow and I only used this thing once. On that last job I noticed the windows were cleaned spot free BUT there were spots at the bottom of the window with dissolved solids in them. My question? Do I need to rinse better?

Yes. Rinse all the way down to the bottom seal. It’s often hydrophobic there and needs to be rinsed very well.

Thank you this job means a lot to me. It’s for a bank with a bunch of branches in this area. I need this thing to work… I will rinse more thoroughly. I’ll give an update tomorrow night.

Watch all of these - you will find the answers you seek!

It’s all of 10-15 minutes…, and it’s free.

i was confused when i first started looking at wfp last year also.
i watched alot of videos and read lots of forum articles.
the reach it mini made a lot of sense to me, very short when closed down, yet able to reach a 2 story with walkout basement. attachments that can be added to extend the reach, other attachments to add other functionality. reasonable price.
then the filter system really seemed complicated and expensive wait whats this wash it thing the reach guys have: simple to operate, complete, economical to run, fits in my mini van easily.
what about customer service after all we all say customer service is king and because we provide great customer service our customers will be loyal even PAY US MORE!
so who was the star of most of the videos i watched that educated me on wfp in general? perry tait.
who wrote most of the articles? perry tait
perry provides more education on wfp in general than anyone else in the industry. he builds his reach it and wash it products to be functional and affordable even though he provides the best customer service.
love my reach it mini, love my wash it pro.

Thank you - you humble me…

We love what we do - and we appreciate the equally compelling effort of the WCR Team to create a portal for us to talk directly with you guys…

Okay yeah I guess I am not doing it right… This is a big job I planned to have done today and I think I could’ve gotten it done if I did it from a ladder. I scrubbed the windows and frames and still got dissolved solids spots on the windows. I had to go back and do them over three times till they finally came clean and when I climbed up the ladder I was shocked at how unclean the windows were. I thought I scrubbed well and tried to do my best with the framework but still had spots… I have to admit I got a little frustrated. I have to go back tomorrow to finish even though I had another job scheduled. I’m glad the guy I’m working with on this job understands but if I loose out on a large account over spots I’d be pretty ticked off. So ladder here I come. Oh yeah and this job HAS to be done by tomorrow afternoon. Any tid bits of info?. I’m on to your training videos again…

… Just curious what they looked like before… Did you check for already existing mineral spots?..There’s a lot of stuff a wfp just won’t get off.

Yeah they had some mineral spots but I think the main thing is that the rubber gasket around the glass has dirt all up in them. I think that’s where the spots are coming from. I tried my best to clean them with the pole but I feel like I just need to climb up and clean them by hand. When I run a towel along the edges of the glass I’m getting black on my towel. They say they have them done twice a year and this winter their guy moved to AZ.
