I might use it to pull all the crap off a really dirty (exterior) sill before I wipe it down with a wet cloth. What do you use it for?
Is it your screen removing tool?

Track cleaner??? wrap a towel around it?
[SIZE=3]You are right it is a track cleaner.
And yes you use a towel or we like using a wet microfibre cloths on it.
It cleans the track easily and quick.
Also good when you have to put a bit of pressure on surfaces.
Find that is good when there is over spray on the window frames.
It gives you enough pressure to clean over spray off frames using a wet microfibre cloth.
