Im looking at getting my flyers “hand delivered” to select neighborhoods and particular types of homes.
So what type of flyers do you feel work best ( as in get more interest from) on hand delivery?
Is it a case of BIG grabs the attention, or does size of the flyers not really matter and its the message that grabs?
Sorry UK member here so im considering small (a6 - 105mm x 148mm) or large (a5 148mm x 210mm)
Well Ive tried several different sizes and in my experience bigger is better. I use almost exclusively 8.5x11 inch flyers.
I ran the same ad and two different sizes earlier this year 4x6 and 8.5x11. printed 10k each and hand delivered to different neighborhoods. The bigger had over a 50% more calls then the smaller one.
Ok, so admittedly I havent done many fliers and not a single EDDM piece yet, but i did do 2K door hangers in 2 separate runs this fall.
First one,
11.5x6, lots of pizzazz and info.
0 calls
Second one,
8x4, REALLY sparsely designed, just the basic facts.
5X ROI and counting
I’m thinking it has to do with content (or lack thereof) rather than size.

I figure bigger is better. More real-estate to explain your offer and present it in a nice way.
