What Tools do you use?

Okay so I am going to begin getting supplies soon, and I don’t want to go overboard to soon. So I am wondering what tools do you use(brand name also please) for your business? What tools do you find to be absolutely necessary and which ones are optional? Again, thanks for all the advice.

I just called WCR and they set me up with what I needed.

What side of the window cleaning business are you looking to get into, residential, commercial or both?

What is necessary to one cleaner may seem like a waste to another. The two big brands are Ettore and Unger. Both make great hand tools that will last for years if treated properly.

If you are going to start off cleaning residential windows I would recommend the following.
Professional bucket
Professional soap. The Glass Gleam is very popular
2 t-bars 10" and 18"
2 squeegee handles
2-4 different squeegee channels 6", 12", 14", 18"
Belt
Squeegee Holster
Glass Scraper. you have to decide if you want to scrape every piece of glass or just spot scrape. You can get scrapers in 1.5", 4", 5" and 6"
Huck towels or Scrim
Small Extension pole 4’ or 8’

If you are going all commercial I would recommend:
Professional bucket
Professional soap
Ettore Backflip
Extension poles 8’ up to 30’
Towels or scrim

Not really too much more when moving from residential to commercial but in my opinion the Ettore Backflip is a must have for commercial work.

I’m more than happy to chat with you about options and needs.

Thanks
