Sounds silly, but i HATE wet feet…
What type of shoe do you wear while doing your routes??
Namebrands would be great!!! THANKS!!!
Nike Shox.
I have black new balance sneakers, a pair of wolverine cordura waterproof boots, and bogs waterproof boots. I’ll wear the wolverines when I’m working on a ladder due to the extra support. For regular route work the sneakers are fine.
How much water do you pour on your feet?
I hate wet feet too, I keep another pair of shoes in the truck plus a few pair of socks…
Croc’s all day every day. I found some dress leather crocs for meetings, or sales calls, but when ever I am working I go barefoot in croc’s.
Dvs
Sneakers.
Gore-Tex low-rise (ECCOs) and mid-rise (Chacos) when it’s raining hard.
Water proof Merrell Continuum’s.
All the time or when it’s raining?
It’s always raining when I use my wfp.
I wear waterproof boots (not sure of brand) during the winter and just regular high top Nike during the summer. Very seldom my feet get wet. You’re supposed to put the water on the windows
What really bugs me are walking thru bushes, shrubs, whatever - Getting stickers in my shoes #1 pet peeve. I guess a different kind of shoe may prevent this.
In summer I wear sandals…In winter,boots.
I think that’s the exact boot I have. The gray part in the back is a dead give away.
How do you fit the sandal inside the boot? Also why would you. I don’t get it, but there must be something to it. Please esplain Lucy!!
Nice boots
LOL I’m having a lazy punctuation day:)
Oh Dang, I thought I was on to something
LOL at me trying to figure out how to fit the sandal in the boot - and WHY
Merrills rule, but I wear cheap WalMart skate shoes, They have good grip for ladders and slippery surfaces, are comfy, and when you ruin a pair it only sets you back $25
Timberland ankle-boots year round.
Red Stilettos. A little hard walking on tile roofs though:D
i wear a cheap but comfy training shoe name is "mercury " . probably theyre made in china .iv seen this rubber sole mix over many years, its always on the cheap shoes
the sole of the shoe is what is so great and grippy ,its soft like a marshmallow ,it only lasts 2 months max till it splits in the centre but Very grippy on ladder rungs/roofs.
only last week i was up on a slate roof cleaning a couple of skylights and decided to kneel down for a short rest.BUT I was soon up on my toes again as my knees slipped away from me,i was starting to sliDE BIG TIME the slate was so slippy
