What was your first wfp system?

Shying pingers. ( for those not in the know a pinger is a NEW serviceman. Get your head shaved by the service and when your hair starts growing back you try to smooth it down but it PINGS back !) now to thequestion
A unger telescoping pole, a wfp brush pole adapter, a wfp brush, and a Hudson battery sprayer. I use RO water
Cost me about $300 total and I do up to two stories. Check out. MYWAGGA pn you tube. Pax

My first wfp system and the one I am currently using is a CLX pole and a Hudson backpack sprayer with ro water. I use a reach around with a scrubber sleeve on the one side with ecover on it, wet the window scrub with ecover rinse and scrub again with pure water then rinse again. I know that’s probably over kill but the results are great

How are you guys getting away with using just RO water? You must have really low tds. Our RO is still 25 ppm, I would be leaving spots all over the place if I only used RO. I just don’t feel comfortable if my tds creeps above 007-008 personally.

The RO water I use has a TDS of .002 , I buy it for .37 a gal. from a culligan filtration system they have at my local Walmart. I only use my wfp for windows that are difficult to reach with a ladder or unsafe to reach with a ladder so I don’t mind spending the .37 a gal. In my experience the .002 water I get from there works great with no spotting.

Gotcha! I see what you mean.
Glad you found a way to step into the pure water game

I started with a used tucker that I will officially retire today. I just bought a Brodex from Alex (WCR) and I will be trying it out in an hour for the first time.

Pretty much sums it up for me. I have used this setup for the past year. Total investment was around the 350 mark. Currently am saving up to get either a Reach-It/Gardiner or Ionic poles. Still comparing them. May end up just buying a 100/gal tank and buying my RO water and passing it through a DI tank. I can buy RO water for .07/gal. locally. For what I currently service my current set-up serves me great. Just a tool in my total arsenal. But am looking to expand and go at this full time.

LoL, I try to forget! 3 years ago I self made a WFP system with a ettore pole and a rigged water line with a spray wand on the tip, 3 gal pump sprayer (boy did my arm get tired!) Bought my DI water from Culligan. Used a Separate pole with a strip washer, even still used soap! Hah, after a few months I committed to a Ionic system. My arms were very happy with my decision!

1988 bought a used Tucker pole. Then bought several other poles. Currently using a Sim pole with a a set of DI tanks, keep it simple.
