What's your target market?

Target market hmmm…
…the target market for us is the market that is willing to pay for a quality service and quality work for the right price.

As fastfanner said “capitalize on the opportunities that arise”

I never judge a book by its cover, you got to read the pages to see if its something you want invest your time in.

I just realized today that I’m basically targeting commercial work these days. I think it’s easy to acquire resi work but I’m not liking it as much as commercial. When I have employees I might go back to targeting resi…

whether it’s demographic or geographic, those who hire a window service are the right psychographic

unfortunately there is not a mailing list for the right psychographic of the right demographic in the right geographic

lol, even though a totally accurate statement

then there are the entrepreneurs who see “opportunity” to make money wherever they look, but that’s a whole other angle

great post, but i have one beef with this statement. an entrepreneur is one who sees opportunity to make money everywhere, and then seizes that opportunity and follows through. the person who sees opportunity and just sort of thinks about it, dreams about it, hems and haws about it… is more of an “idea man”. there are lots of “idea men”, but very few true entrepreneurs.

the hardest thing is to grow from an idea man into a true entrepreneur.

The way I see it you either are or aren’t a leader/entrepreneur. Where I live there’s this leadership training program through the chamber of commerce that trains young people to become leaders. I always got a kick out of it. I always thought you either are or aren’t. A true leader doesn’t need training…

That’s ridiculous. No matter your natural giftings, EVERYONE needs training.

Did Derek Jeter need training
Great leaders were born to lead period .

Yes he did. That’s why he has had coaches every day of his life.

Well either way. The people I see going through these “leadership training courses” wouldn’t make it a day in my shoes… I’ll lead them right to their breaking point…

Yes he did need training, he didn’t become the leader of the Yankees right away. When he started he was surrounded by veteran players who helped him become the leader he was.

This space for rent!

Okay so yeah you need training to become a pro at what you do. Got that… Newsflash, a leader is born not manufactured…

Ya to play baseball When you play baseball coaches don’t train you to be a leader. They teach you how to play the game.
I believe great leaders are born with that innate quality. It’s genetics
There were other players on that team that were better than jeter. Why weren’t they great leaders

Which is kind of the antithesis of what a “leader’s” attitude should be.

More specific…

Could you guide them in a way that WOULD make them last a day in your shoes?
Do you have the persistence to last a day in THEIR shoes, if given their guidance?

The arrogance here is choking me.

Yeah we could go to the whole reach around thing. I don’t want to lead anyone anywhere, I want to lead myself to where I want to be. No matter how you put it…

I’m not following some college kids looking into how to become a leader.

Okay Mole. How do you have ten million posts in five years anyway?

That’s two million posts a year. We don’t even see you that much… Answer that D…

I could EASILY tell you and tell you how he did it…
But I won’t.

The way I see it, he’s the leader in posts, and in likes.
Must have been ‘born that way.’
