Which Products to use?

Which products are the best to use?

ettore, unger, etc.?

Please let me know what products you like the best and last the longest. thank you

I think it varies from item to item, but if I had to pick just one company I would say Ettore.

We just had a pole in this very thing. I’d said it then and I’ll say it again - Ettore!

I would have to say Ettore as well.

If you’re just starting out give Alex and Chris @ WCR a call. You can trust them not to load you up with unecessary equipment. They know what you really really need and what is extra stuff for later on.

Oh! Unger runs a close second.

I use tools from all of the above. If you limit yourself to one brand only you will miss out on some really great tools.

Since Ettore won the favorite equipment pole hands down their stuff will get the job done. I have pretty much settled on what I like, after trying everything out.

I probably use at lea

we use all unger ergo-tec hardware, unger 4500 microfibres and regular grade ‘a’ scrim.
unger kit lasts very well except for unger rubber but its unbeatable for a few windows

Well said Nuvu

I agree

There is no one brand that makes the best everything

All the tools are going to last a really long time (unless you break them … :)). More important than “brands” per se, are sizes and which tool serves a particular function. You need to think about what kind of work you will primarily be doing right off the bat (double-hungs?, large storefronts?, pole work?, etc.). What type and size tools you get will depend on what you typically clean.

If I had no tools, I would probably go with one of the kits (pretty much any brand would do) and use the “search” function to go through this forum to read all the advice given over the years (this question has been asked before).

As an aside, one of my favorite new toys has been the wagtail - way cool. But I would not make it one of my first few squeegees … that’s just me.

Great piece of advice IMO:cool:

Just wanted to kick this one back to the top.

have you ever used 101 replacement rubbers

Ettore…

It’s all a matter of personal preference as they all get the job done. I suggest you buy one of everything from WCR to try them out! J/K
