One more thing, if a scrubber holds a great amount of water it usually releases more water onto the window. Like Deeper clean said, your bucket will run out quicker and you have to fill it up more often.
A scrubber that holds and releases too much water per window will waste time, effort, water, and soap. I’d rather use just what is needed per window.
A scrubber that holds/releases a moderate amount of water will do the job well without causing you to have to refill the bucket. Less detailing too (on those premium accounts where all water needs to be gotten off of the frames).
Monsoon has been my favorite until I ordered a Microtiger a few weeks ago.
The Microtiger works amazingly well on greasy fingerprints. Much better then the Monsoon. I believe the Monsoon held a slight amount more water then the Microtiger, but like Mdefiel and Larry, I’d rather the scrubbing power.
If you have a BOAB, your strip washer is getting another drink everytime you “holster” it anyway.
I knew when I saw your order come through you would love the micro tiger. As I have said in the past our guys fight over them in the morning.
WCR carries basically every single type and brand of scrubber cover. I have been actually thinking of doing a video where we dip them all in water, then drip dry a bit. Then we will weigh them to see which ones actually hold the most water. I think the monsoon would win, but I wont know for sure until we do the experiment.
Chris, you should stock the Blue devil in different sizes, I’d like to get some of them to cover my moonsons as once Karlos suggested, you get great scrubbing power and water holding madness in one T-bar.
But I do like the monsoon for those extremely hot days doing high windows on a 30’ pole. I can soak and squeegee (either with visa versa or backflip) many windows before I have to bring the pole back down to freshen up.
Yeah Chris, if you remember I bought a new Monsoon at the same time as the Microtiger. I havn’t even used the new Monsoon. I like the Microtiger too much…
I wash my sleeve about every 2 months or so. I just toss it in with a load of towels. Does anybody else wash their sleeve?
We wash our sleeves everyday. We just have a big bin of sleeves and the guys take a new one everyday. I know that is over kill… neatness is easier to maintain if we wash them daily.
I wash my sleeves at least once a week or after any particualarly dirty job. I put them in the washing machine with my dirty hucks. The sleeves don’t go in the dryer though.
Micro Fiber in some sleeves- plastic bristles on my Blue Max’s. I don’t think it’s a good idea to put them in a dryer. Besides, they dry out fine without going in the dryer. They’ll soon get wet again anyway, and I don’t bother to dry them then.
Another reason is that I don’t put anything in the dryer with my huck towels in order to avoid lint from other items getting all over the hucks.
