I am wanting to learn how to use my pure water system to whiteing gutters. If anybody could explain how that works works that would be great. Thanks
Don’t waste your pure water trying to whiten gutters.
Grab some gutter zap or gutter grenade and use your extension pole with an older brush to scrub the
gutters clean and rinse off with a hose.
Takes a fraction of the time for 100x better results

100% this!
+1
I agree with Mike. I’ll also add …get a 1 gallon pump sprayer , an mix it in that.
The lower gutters , you can just spray right on the gutters. The uppers spray on the brush, then scrub.
Pre-wet the gutters first
Also. Be carful with this stuff wear sun glasses ,an watch what your dripping on. Wet everything down good an re-wet after dripping

I like that pump sprayer idea, I never thought to mix it like that.
I just made my mix in a WC bucket and dunked the brush in there and applied to the gutters.

Ya I did it that way at first. It was s pain when you had your pole extended 24’ an ya had to dunk it it the bucket, and the lower gutters were easier if you could just spray them then scrub . Plus it’s less waste , and easier to store what’s left over

I’m gonna do that next week, got a gutter whitening add on to a house wash.
It is definitely a pain when the pole is extended that much to dunk it in the bucket. Less waste is also something I’m a fan of.

Awesome !!!
Also it will be ready to go for the next job most times.
I’m going to buy another 1 gal pump up to have a stronger mix in one. Sometimes it needs to be stinger so you just grab the other pump up an boom no fuss no mus

It’s too bad these aren’t 1 gallon, seems like it would be easier to apply to the brush as well.

Personally i have a separate WFP setup that pumps the solution up to the brush head to the gutter and spray apply then scrub a little at the toughest parts.
Then rinse and scrub with tap water…
Awesome results.
You do get a better spray with those. I’m sure if you wanted to mix on a smaller scale those would be fine.
I use those for when I’m doing store front paint removal. Straight ammonia with a little dish soap. Apply let sit for 10 min apply again an scrape. No messy bucket full of tools. The only way to go in my Eyes. Yes spray way did work also , but to each is own.
I’m just glad that all I have is two customers that paint up there stores for the holdsys. It use to be 40-50 back in the days
I use to keep putting off an off till that nice January day came , but it never did, an February would be here an my boss would be screaming at me you didn’t take the paint off at Gino’s yet WTF!!!

I hope it’s warm enough for you, I think it was gutter zap we used at the time but it was not as effective in cold temps. An alternative is Sprayway with a magic eraser, granted you’ll have to use a ladder but it will do the job.
This space for rent!
Thanks for all of the help. I appreciate it.
