Why yes, and I can actually see the stadium from my deck, BUT, to answer your question, both Jets and Giants play in New Jersey, yet are claimed by New York. I, as a Jersey native have a problem with this. I pay taxes on the stadium, yet NYC gets all the glory. Therefore I root for the better team, which is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
(By the way, did you know that we also pay the taxes and utilities on both Ellis Island AND the Statue of Liberty? Yup, Lady Liberty is actually from Jersey City lol)
I’d imagine theres gonna be a problem when I walk into the Jets bar on Sunday with my “F*** Sanchez” shirt on… Its ok, I’ll have my Terrible Towel to wipe up the tears out of the eyes of the cute Jets girls that are usually there 
EDIT: Yes, the Steelers are my fav NFL team, but I’m not nearly as die-hard and snot-nosed about it as I am with my other 2 teams… Yankees and the Devils

Back in Oct. 09 we were heading home from a Pittsburgh AUWC seminar on Sunday morning. The Steelers were at home that afternoon and it seemed that every other person we saw in that city had Steelers jerseys. It was unbelievable. Quite impressive even though I’m not into them.
