Hello all. I am cleaning a commercial building and encountering this strange goldish residue that is mainly next to the caulk joints and at the bottom of the glass. We tried using Bio Clean hard water stain remover and steel wool and it will not come off. Any ideas of what it is and how to get it off?
Can you actually feel it on the glass? If not, most likely mfg defect. Cant see it well from here.
Have you tried bar keepers friend and a wet rag?
I have recently been asked to give a price on glass restoration that LOOKED alot like plain old caulk smear or building run off, but NOTHING took it off. No acid at all could even make a dent.
If you tried all the acids and still nothing? Your guess is about as good as mine.
