That’s awesome, but that should also be in this thread.

Well it wont let me post a link until I have 5 posts.

So It’s the thread about “who-has-lettering-wrap-their-truck”

Very cool photo Chris!

Great pic…We should all go back to the basics, save gas, and have a less of a carbon foot print.

I am inventing a pedal powered pressure washer as we speak!

Deutschland?

Does anyone beside some guys in New York city or other major metro area’s use a bike state side, Besides Bucket Bob’s. I’m not saying anything bad about it, I would like to hear what kind of response they get from people and customers.I think its a great idea if your doing local storefronts and parking is an issue.

We have a guy in our area that uses a bike with a trailer. I’m not exactly sure what his condition is (autistic, brain injury). He does mainly commercial, storefront stuff but also does residential, with a non-WFP.

This space for rent!

I love it. There is something romantic to me about using a bike to clean windows. I think maybe it’s because I have a wife, a mortgage and 4 kids under 5. Something about the idea of not having anything to take care of but you and your accounts. You don’t even have to worry about gas! Or maybe it’s the fluctuating economy every time we have a hiccup and people slow their spending. You would be care free at least as far as gas prices go. Heck I think if I were single I would clean windows with a bike, live in a shoe and put all the money in the sock! LOL. I guess I can fantasize. But then the reality of having to pay the mortgage and support my wife and 4 kids under 5 kicks in and it’s time to snap out of it.

Anyways nice picture.

Somebody needs to introduce THAT guy to WCR :stuck_out_tongue:

There was a photo of a local window cleaner floating around online a few years ago. He’s this old guy from my neighborhood here in Montreal. He’s famous for towing his 32’+ ladder behind his bike. He had two wheels on the end of the ladder. He could be seen all over town.

It’s unfortunate, though, because nobody’s seen him for a year or so. His clients are now starting to call me. I think he and that bike with the ladder in tow went south in search of longer resi seasons.

Talk about Low Overhead.

My only question is what happens when it snows, you still gotta eat???

What WCR offers the whole bike setups Now…

Is that the guy over in Waltham?

Chris, wasnt there an article in wcbo with two guys with modified bikes?

The first picture is of a German firm called Holl from Braunschwaig… also he has whats known as a GmbH , that tells me that he has a bit of money and is a serious Cleaning firm … the main reason for using the Bike is for two reasons probably . he has a lot of shop windows in the town centre and he can only drive with a car there up until 10.00 am in the morning, and also it is used for advertising…

Hey Tim I think there was one guy from Florida that I can recall.

Funny Chris that you would post this after I told you last week about it, I’ll send you this picture.
I was driving through downtown area and saw this guy doing windows, kudos to him!
Thought he may of been a fish …
