The Seattle Fire Department has rescued two window-washers whose platform stuck at an angle during the noon hour Wednesday outside the 35th floor of the downtown Sheraton hotel. The platform rigging had snagged. No injries reported.
I was close too (Lake Union) when I heard it on the radio. I thought about going down a video taping it. Lost interest in the matter after one was already rescued.
I switched to Moss-B-Gone from Bens Steam Cleaners. They are near Safeco Field. They also have great backpack sprayers which make applying the stuff fast fast fast
Same thing happened to me and my buddy a few years ago when one side of the cradle stopped descending. We couldn’t go up or down. Our rescue was different though. The Fire dept used a turntable ladder to bring us down.
