Kevin
Here’s a recording of today’s show:
This week we talked about the importance of keeping a little black book, and what kind of information should be in it!
One viewer got a little personal, too!
I was able to join in today for the last half of the live broadcast. How do I type in questions?
Liked what I caught.
Thanks,
For that, you have to watch from blogtv.com.
I’ll post a link before next weeks show.
Thx for popping by.
This week’s episode is now available online, by clicking on the link below!
We talked about WHY you CAN charge more right NOW for your window cleaning services, and I also showed you a super-affordable little tool that I believe everyone should spend $100 on right now to generate a LOT more window cleaning business profits!

Here’s a video I uploaded yesterday, on how to leverage the value of your best customers just a tiny bit more…
There is a rule in business known sometimes as the “Pareto Principle”, that teaches that 80% of your business revenue is generated from 20% of your clients.
This video shows you one way you can tap into that more valuable potential.
Kevein did you study marketing?, or have you just picked up alll your marketing tips along the course of your work?
Kevin, just got done watching the “Pareto Principle” video.
Great idea, thanks for sharing.
Do you think a fruit basket or coffee assortment would work along with the letter and coupons?
If giving something larger in size and having it delivered and not mailed, would that be a negative as compared to something smaller being mailed.
Rob, I’ve kinda been fascinated with marketing these past few years. Endless articles, books, newsletters, conversations with successful entrepreneurs, brainstorming, real-world testing, little job connections here and there, brilliant friends and colleagues, etc.
And then, once I started implementing some of the core concepts I was learning, and then noticing how big of a difference tweaks here and there could make, I was hooked. Its become my little business-related obsession now, and its been cool to see how easily the same tools and tricks have worked for other guys all over the world.
No official college/university/other certification though, no.
I agree it is an interesting subject, marketing…sometimes i think that you can learn more through personal life experiences as apposed to learning in a formal university degree.
Your interest in the topic has obviously served you just as well as anyone could expect from completing a degree.
Whats your favorite marketing text?..apart from the naked w/c’r of course:D
Tough one, Rob. Changes every week. This week I happen to have none…strange really…
Hey Kevin,
please email me in regards the the marketing opportunity that I presented in another topic/forum. Also did you get my voice message?
I will follow up with Ultra next week, I am swamped and playing catch up with my accounts and jobs after the fall 2 weeks ago.
Thanks Ed.
ps I really liked the video.
How you healing up Ed? Any permanent problems?
Couple more things, Rob:
And absolutely the most lucrative endeavor of any small, medium, or large business. Including all us window cleaning folk. The most lucrative.
And as for the marketing text
thing, I change my mind:
Perhaps right now I`ll say “life” is my favorite marketing text…I am profoundly curious lately about how almost every observable human reaction around me is predicated on predictable responses to marketing stimuli.
My experience, my wifes, my family
s, etc. Just fascinating.
We humanfolk seem irresistably manipulated by the endless barrage of marketing that we`re faced with all day every day, and even when we become aware of it, we still are essentially powerless to fully immunize ourselves against it.
Fascinating. Empowering too, of course, in an uber-educational way, once you clearly understand how to herd your own prospective flock with these same principles and tools…
Perhaps much more valuable than a “formal” education as you alluded…much more…
Hey Phil, Kevin said Uber:D:D You just gonna let that go?
Where’s Terry?
sorry…Kevin is off limits. He is under my protection.
Not too bad, but slow to heal, being over 40 and all. I may have cracked my jaw though? Maybe just a tooth, I have to go in on Monday and have it checked out.
Thanks,
ps I did not fall on the job, fell moving, missed the steps, landed 4’ft down on uneven paving (over a foot different in height). Hurt both sides of my body, deep to the bone bruising, also my shoulders and arms. Then when some of the other pain went down, I noticed the pain in my mouth getting worse…
LOL life… I just do not bounce anymore.
Ye, the sociological and psychological aspect is amazing…i have to agree.
How our behavior can be influenced in such away.
I forget the name of this book, but i read one about a year ago which was forwarded by Richard Branson…it had hundreds of case studies where they told of the marketing strategy and the outcomes of same.
