Manny posted fraudulent reviews toward two of Chris’ businesses – you bet he’s demanding.
Posting the phony reviews was disgraceful. I don’t know Manny, nor have I ever done business with his company. Hopefully he has some redeeming qualities and can put this episode behind him and at the same time do right by WCR.
The problem is George, that he may have caused harm to my business thats not measurable at first glance. How many people saw his ridiculous blog post that aren’t WCR members and now have some crazy impressions about myself and WCR.
How many people checked out my business All County Window Cleaning, saw that negative review and decided to call someone else.
He posted that fake blog post to his blog, facebook, twitter, and the facebook window cleaners group. I think its only fair that all the people that saw that fake post be informed of the truth.
If he had only posted that to twitter, I would only ask for an apology on twitter. That just seems fair to me. Lots of people have emailed me and asked why I dont just leave a comprable review on his site… But I wont do that, I dont think its right to screw around with someones business.
I dont think what I am asking for is unreasonable. i just want all the people he lied to, to know the truth. A phone call wont do me any good, because its not about my feelings… Its about my business.

This is the modern day equivalent to taking out a negative news paper ad. Imagine for a second one of your competitors printed all sorts of lies and untruths about your company on the front page of the news paper. That competitor then days later got caught lying about the whole thing. Would you be satisfied with a phone call apology, or would your prefer a retraction be printed in the same news paper in the same spot? That way all the people that read the first ad, and got negative impressions of your company learned the truth.
Thoughts? Do you see where I am coming from?
Well said and understood Chris. I certainly respect your right to vigorously defend your business and reputation. I did not mean to make light of the situation. To be honest, after reading the blog and reviews I thought it to be silly and insipid. As you know we have been doing and continue to do business with WCR for over 2 years now. Knowing first hand the quality of customer service and integrity of purpose that we been accustomed to receiving perhaps I did make light of the situation. I sincerely hope this whole thing is in your rear view mirror soon and you and WCR continue to do what you do best.
thing is ,some folk just love causing grief ,gets them attention. sometimes they have an underlying personality disorder . ive learnt in life that those types are best ignored and Then they move on to somebody else . ive seen many of that type of person on "judge judy " tv programme.

Look at how much publicity got out of this. Now a lot of people who had no clue who they were are aware of them.
I went from being unaware of them to thinking them desperate for business, unethical, afraid of others’ success, and downright stupid.
I’m from Savannah though. It’s almost as slow as Mississippi here…

The saddest thing is Manny does something unethical, gets called on it, makes personal attacks, removes them so they can’t be seen, then never does the right thing by a public apology. Sad, truly sad.
Here it is, if you plan to do business get ahead by hustle, find a niche, be different! By no means is it acceptable to get ahead at the expense of others. I like WCR because of the knowledge of the members and the staff/ownership being supportive and willing to answer questions etc. The same people who post fake reviews are the same ones who click peoples ad words to cost them money, call and pretend to be a customer for a bid etc.
The word for people like that guy is a Cockroach or a Sinker Turd, I would never consider doing business with that guy for the simple fact that he would probably take my money and never send me the product. Sorry you had to deal with a Cockroach, but as Scarface said “I bury those Cockroaches” Squish that 6 legger, hose off your shoe and keep on pushing
Agreed, send this one to the cooler and lock it down. Who cares now… this guy is out of his league. WCR provides the biggest, most helpful service any window cleaning distributor could ever… and it’s free. IMO it wont be long till you guys are sitting up top and expanding. It only makes sense… now start expanding with me so i can buy my highrise stuff from you

over 22 years in the business and never seen such an entrepreneurial spirit in a supplier as with Chris and Alex. Amazing. They have shown the true definition of the word entrepreneur with all they have done and in such a short time. The next generations of window cleaners have arrived in full force.
I’m sure it has taken many suppliers by surprise. Many perhaps just do not have an answer to such a synergystic setup that WCR has created, and that lack of answer is expressed in odd ways.

EDIT: I’ve seen plastic razors being sold by window tint suppliers to assist with “reducing damage” when removing tint from rear windows with raised defrost elements. Remember: plastic razors are not a safe alternative when fabricating debris is present.
