I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but number one on Google is not going to happen in Dade / Broward with a Wix website.

I appreciate the feedback. Okay what route should I go to achieve my results? Is my website good for anything now lol

Looks like you have spent some time on the content. You also have a domain. Use all of that, and rebuild with WordPress.

You may also want to build individual, unique landing pages for each town in your service area, starting closest to home and working outward. These pages shouldn’t appear in the navigation of your site, but they will show up when someone searches for their town and window cleaning.

Research SEO, and focus your attention on the newest articles you can find. SEO changes constantly. Heck, maybe the custom landing pages don’t even do as much as they used to

Why not? SEO is mainly about content and mobile friendly templates. If he creates some YouTube videos, adds content, adds landing pages for his areas, then he can probably get a decent rank. Takes work.

Unless Google specifically down ranks builders, I’m not sure why he couldn’t.

I haven’t looked at the site but there’s probably some in page stuff he can do. But Google is getting smarter so the tricks we used to play inside WordPress aren’t counted anymore.

Does Google alter the organic search rankings of businesses that are paying them for AdWords?

Google has had issues in the past with ASP website builders, like Wix and Weebly. Not sure if they do now, but I really don’t follow it (admittedly, due to lack of interest).

These website builders are very limited in what they can do. Then again, you get what you pay for.

Here I go again, breaking my New Year’s Resolution of offering a rebuttal to questions regarding Wix / Weebly / Squarespace / GoDaddy Builder lol

Thanks for replying! This website mess is harder than I thought. I created the site in like 2 weeks I hope I can generate some traffic. Maybe it will be good resource for people who see my advertising

There’s nothing “sneaky” about Wordpress anymore lol

I meant the fisher price comment.

I used to tell that to my wordpress friends and it was always entertaining. And then I’d hang my head, grit my teeth, and cross my fingers when I had to update a drupal website.

I use Wix. My site looks nice. And it gets me calls. But I live in a smallish town. YMMV

What is a landing zone?

Good looking website!..just one minor critique though. Double check your grammar and spelling. (mostly in your about me section) Most people couldn’t care less, but spelling and grammar Nazi’s will pick that apart and you could lose some potential business based just on that. The Their, There, They’re and You and You’re monsters jump on that HUGE!

I’m not always the best when it comes to proper grammar, so I generally have a second set of eyes read through what I write to pick out any issues. It’s been worth it to me.

I always recommend Grammarly to anyone that wants a second set of eyes.

I added the link above and have no idea why it is so long. Hopefully the forum software will shorten it up when I hit reply. The free version is good, the paid version is much better if you do a lot of writing.
