Wood or Faux Wood?

75/25 is a scary number. I mean, if you are warping wood 25% of the time I have to imagine that can be an expensive percentage to be operating at, right?

It would be if I did it on clients blinds. So far I am only playing with what I have around the shop until I get it just right. wood and water make me nervous.

I agree, wood and water make me nervous too… which is why an ultrasonic isn’t extremely high on my want list. It just doesn’t seem like the main blinds I’d be cleaning (Wood & Faux Wood) would be serviceable.

I am note sure what makes it safe as I see your anxiety. Heres one for you to get your head around. For fire restoration they say you can dip a TV or computer keyboard. I dont know if it works afterwards but you can dip it according to Morantz:)

I have even heard clock radios and othe electric items. The part they dont tell you is the solution. speacial soap and DI water. the reason you use DI water is due to its purity. water at a pure form will not conduct electricity. it is the minerals and such in inpure water that conducts the electricity. That is why the use a speacial soap. its like a milky color.

It’s gonna take a while to wrap my head around that for sure!!
