Work related injury prevention

Hey folks,

Been on the glass a lot. My right shoulder, my dominant shoulder, is starting to hurt quite a lot, deep down. Not debilitating, but persistent. Then today I went to pick up and move my Giant ladder and the shoulder just wouldn’t work normal. Not so much about pain or it locking up, it just felt weak. Like it wouldn’t do the work I was asking it to do. I’m wondering what the rest of you do to take care of your body and what might be, I’m concerned, repetitive motion injuries to the rotator cuffs. I’m in pretty good shape, but this has me concerned because there is a straight line from my right shoulder to my bank account. I do use the left quite a lot for mopping, trimming and about everything but squeegee.

First step I’m taking; did some carpets for a massage therapist last week. Her and her partner couldn’t afford carpets and windows, so they picked carpets. I have an appointment with her on Thursday morning and I’ve asked her to consider a swap - windows for massage. She’s thinking about it.

I do a swap with my chiropractor, best investment I ever made. When any one in my family is hurting, we just make an appointment, and he takes care of us.
I did something to my knee last week, and I went in, and he got me feeling better within a couple days, plus he has gotten me some real nice jobs with his family and friends.

you might TRY using a Wagtail squeegee, theyr lighter on your wrist and shoulder joints . on the wagtail website theres a lot of stories about how its helped people who are suffering joint problems

I’ve worked with the WT on several jobs. I have two sizes and pull them out at a couple jobs a week. Just haven’t gotten used to the quality I get or the supposed improvement in speed. In short, I’m not a wt convert as of yet. Perhaps someone can convince me otherwise.
