So would you guys use a ladder for this job or another method? I’m talking about the high windows. What size ladder you guys think, 24’?
24 is fine, sure. Can you walk on that wood though?
i do not think the wood is walkable.
If you can’t get up there, and by the picture it looks fairly recessed, I’d pad the ladder rails with towels and pole them from the ladder.
Everything else looks like standard ladder work.
Great idea about padding the end of the ladder. Definitely will be doing that. I figured I was just going to WFP the outside windows
Yes !!!
Looks like 3 1/2 -4 piece ladder work
I would use this https://windowcleaner.com/shop/ipc-eagle-cleano-system much safer and less disturbance on the business.
Yep, I would likely pole it with a pad system. If it was really dirty I would squeegee then pad it. Sometimes if I am worried about dripping from the squeegee I will soak and wring out one pad with either pure water or my soap solution and use that then buff it out with another pad. Pure water is preferred though because the solution is more likely to streak. Yeah it takes longer than nose to glass, but I personally wouldn’t want to have risk a ladder in there.
Looks like bullhorns on a ladder will get you right under the window.
Another vote for pole and pad. I’m not personally going to set a ladder for that, on tile floor.
I would need a 25 foot pole for this? $800 though
I don’t know why you think a 20 foot pole would cost that much. You don’t need a carbon fiber WFP to clean with the pads or a squeegee. Unger makes good poles, and I don’t think I have given much over 200 with shipping for any of my trad aluminum poles.
I was referring to the IPC eagle cleano system someone linked. I bought a 24’ pole
If for some reason you can’t use a ladder to get it !! looks like you can to me , But maybe the ledge is to far out. for this job. Why not use the squiggling thing, or strip washer / Squeegee them the green pad to polish it off.
I’m sorry that indoor system is insane for 1800.00
How often are you going to use it ??
No thanks. If I’m solo I would just grab a ladder spotter for the day.
Didn’t realize that’s what you were talking about.
No, I wouldn’t buy one unless I were doing tons of tall interior glass and it made financial sense. Even then, I’d probably go for a dragonfly system before the IPC.
I own two Unger speedclean kits. They work well for my business, and since I use Unger poles, I can put it on any size pole I need.
