Anybody use this hose? What are your thoughts?
I have 2. I just ordered 4 more. Love them. I use with WFP all the time. I have used with my PW successfully too but I have a small one with. 3.6 gpm. The overall pressure is a little less them with a stiffer rubber hose.
Those are on my wish list but I haven’t seen them in stores yet?
seems like they would have a ton of points for failure -> the more moving parts, the more stuff breaks (generally). I have heard that these are an improvement over the “as seen on TV” extendable hose that was out awhile ago.
There are some cheap green hoses out there. The black is thicker and has brass fittings. I’ve used em all year with no problems. They are lighter and do easy to carry and haul. I put 2 of them in a 5 gallon bucket. The heavy rubber hoses are a pain to work in colder weather. These stay very flexible all year.
I use them only for water supply from the house to my buffer tank. They just lay there. I don’t drag them around all over. Working good so far
The ones that I have used (1st generation xhose) broke constantly and the fittings were cheap. I looked into these and the reviews were terrible as far as taking several months to arrive and then usually being the wrong ones anyway (the old ones). As far as portability and ease of use they are the best but I don’t trust them to work for very long. I don’t like the weight of big rubber hoses but they work forever. It’s a trade off.

I have 2 and they are fantastic! I use then as water supply for my pressure washer. Heavy duty brass fittings and a convenient ball valve on one end. Much easier to handle than conventional hoses.

Update…I bought 2 at the end of last year, used them once, and stored them through the winter. They both burst during the first month of use this year. So easy to handle, store, and use, but…

Definitely seen many of these go bad from customers and friends alike. The idea is great but they are not what they seem.

Got 2 of the green ones from costco. They definitely feel cheap, but I just use them for my screen washer. They collapse pretty tight and roll up under the brushes.
I wouldn’t use them for wfp work, but for screen washing they seem to work alright. I’ll see how long they last.
The green ones wont last long went through 3 of them already. I want to try the black ones with brass fittings I’m using it for the same thing screen washer
