So today I was browsing a ritzy mall in PDX with designers I’ve only heard someone reading about. While in a store with $600 pens resting their display case I began a simple conversation about her items and how I write thank you notes with a fountain pen from Staples. She thought that was great and asked what I kind of work I do. I mentioned Glass Restoration and how I could restore pieces like her glass countertop. She was intrigued and asked me to stop by to leave more information.
So I came up with this.

Thanks, guys. The countertops I saw at the shop could lift out of the wood frame. If in a mall, they have those “hidden hallways” behind the stores, and if possible I would work back there - put up a “containment box” like when painting a car, plastic sheets hanging and place the glass on a custom easel or make a portable worktable. I’d probably work after hours if possible and bring a vacuum for sure.
