Who knows, maybe heās on the down-stroke of what I like to call the ābox fanā method. Works great for tall, narrow panes when you have a squeegee thatās at least ~60% of the width of the pane.
I got a feeling thereās an annoyed window cleaner out of frame asking for his squeegee back.
āmissed a spotā.
Somewhere in Ohio lives a millionaireās wife with a window out back 1/4 clean / 3/4 dry rubber streak
Except for that one mark left behind from a too extreme blade direction switch
Hmm. I always thought that was my technique. Iāve seen Polz nā Bladz pull it off flawlessly. It seems like 1/3 of the time I manage it with no mark left behind, and the other 2/3 I have to give it a little swipe with my huck. I still find itās worth it even if I do have to touch up a spot; way faster than fanning down the entire pane with a smaller blade.
I agree. Especially now with the liquidators or a dogeared channel that minimizes edge detailing. The spot or small streak is always in the same place so its anticipated. Ive thought the same that its just my technique that needs to improve. I used to use the Z method with Sorbos on those but so far the liquidators work great.
Agreed. And I like the term ābox fan methodā. This is the fastest on long narrow windows for sure. And the Z method is my favorite for tons of same sized small size square windows.
