I happen to like the end clips. One reason I prefer the Ninja is because I don’t have to mess w/ those stupid loose clips anymore.
+1
yeh its definitely a love hate relationship with those Ninja end clips … some love it and some hate it…
I just started using the NINJA this past week. And I like it. The clips are not that big of a deal and it doesn’t feel bulky to me.
Gotta have MANLY hands to handle this squeege…lol
John, I noticed a fair bit of rubber hanging out the end of the channel. Do you always have so much rubber hanging out? I usually trim mine to about 1/16th (or at most 1/8th) of an inch past the end of the channel.
Hi Mark… no this is the 35 cm soft blade as sold by unger. its not over hanging that bad just appears so- it hangs over the same amount as what a normal green ergo tech squeegee does…
ill give this squeegee a good test tomorrow… if you cut the blade/ rubber down to much on those hard bodied channels they have a habit of scraping on the frame… nothing serious… but it cant be flush that wont work. there has to be a little give…
I just keep my Ninga in a nylon tool pouch with a scrapper & sea sponge. My mop sits in my BOAB & now I don’t have end clip problem’s anymore. Ninga pulls out nice & easy
I worked with the Ninja modification yesterday… WOW WOW WOW it is not only lighter now… but you will save at least 50 % time on detailing due to the automatic dog earing with the new end clip placement
i did 2 houses yesterday and did no detailing what so ever… any serious Trad window cleaner will have to check this out. it really leaves a bare minimum of water on the sides… compared to those original end clips on the Ninja.
.the great thing about the ninja is is that the channel is straight… it now feels and handles like the normal steel ergo tech from unger… but leaves less water on the sides after squeegeeing and is just as light or very near in weight.
seize the moment !
