Your Favorite Squeegee Rubbers

So I’ve been using hard pulex rubbers for my squeegees. I usually change them out every day or every other day depending how much it’s used. I like their quality just fine but does anybody recommend a different brand? What are the differences between brands or are they all fairly similar?

I only use ettore and Sorbo rubber. Ettore lasts about 1500 to 2000 windows for me. Usually a week sometimes less for 1 rubber. I have been using the baron rubber in my wide body’s and they last forever because of how I use them and there are 4 sides. Moreman sucks. Unger sucks. Ettore rubber is a premium rubber. I feel like it’s the best.

man, maybe it was just the batch i got but i hated the pulex hard rubber i got, i like the “professional” hard rubber they have here, and i can buy ettore locally so i’ll use that when i run out before my next order cokes in

Pulex was okay for me. I found myself pushing a little harder to get the glide I was used to for some reason. I use Ettore rubber pretty exclusively now. It’s the best I’ve tried. But a few of my batches don’t glide right out of the box, I don’t know if there is a coating of oil on there or what. So what I started doing is tossing a new rubber in my bucket to “deoil” or “break in” or whatever it might be that hinders my glide. Seems to help.

But then again, some days you take a fresh rubber and it’s just smooth as smooth can be.

Unger doth sucketh. AND it’s shorter than the other rubbers so unless you’re using unger channels you’re going to have a wicked hard time getting them to fan properly. I threw my unger rubber in the trash.

3 Star is okay but wears pretty fast.

Couldn’t pull the trigger on Baron since nobody is carrying it any more and I don’t want to get hooked on something that I can’t replace.

Haven’t tried professional.

Sorbo is the only thing I use in widebody channels.

I use Ettore for my standard chaannels, Sorbo and Baron for my wife body channels.

I still have a couple dozen Baron rubbers from when WCR carried them and one rubber can last a month in my 22" since I use it just for straight pulls.

Sorbo in my wide body. Great rubber !!!

Ettore in my regular channels. JaredAI I hear what your saying abut the Ettore . Never understood it. Takes an hour or so then it’s moving right for my liking .

What are wife body channels? Do they have birthing hips or something?

Yeah, they give birth to big ass clean windows

Ettore all the way… Clean ass cut ups… Pals…

I assumed he worked with his wife.

On the topic now: I use Pullex but I’m not really satisfied. Never tried anything else yet ( newbie here) but I’ll make sure to NOT use an Unger and try an Ettore.

Yeah he’s using his wife’s body to make deals…

Try the rubber rolls from JRC

Ettore is my go-to brand. When I was using Sorbo channels, their rubber was quite good I felt.
Pulex and Barron- meh.

You should maybe switch to a lower ABV beer, or read what you write before you post, because if that was an attempt at being funny, it wasn’t.

We got some facelift rubber from the UK. I really like the glide and feel. They last a week easy, I actually changed one just cause I forgot how old it was. The only negative for me is it seems to really attracts hair, dirt, and what not so I have to wipe it more often.

Man you sure do complain a lot…

Ettore

Ettore all the way. I started using Unger and was going through those rubbers like a fat kid eating cake. Switched to Ettore and havent tried anything else. I am open to trying the Sorbo brand though, maybe next year.

I have switched from Pulex to Ettore just about exclusively. I made friends with the Ettore rep at the convention and just sent him a message about the glide out of the box. He said he’ll ask about any kind of coating before shipping and get back with me.
