Actually, that window is a piece of cake to do from a ladder. Position it to the right and clean away. I have been in way more difficult situations when cleaning gutters and installing gutter guards. You just have to have complete control and look before you set/move your ladder. Dont touch the mast either.

I do it this way on access issue windows except I will clean the bottom sash first to minimize any chance of dripping on a already cleaned sash.
Steven, I would just be very careful and put your ladder as far to the right as possible. Good luck!
if you guys ever run into a situation where you just can’t get to the window or you don’t feel comfortable about it, the power companies will come out and put a blanket over the lines for you for no charge.
we had a safety meeting a few years ago and were told about it. we even had to test this out once and sure enough within about 30 min the power company showed up and threw a set of orange boots over the lines. ironically the guy climbed up our fiberglass ladder and was grabbing the power lines like it was nothing
Not that this has anything to do with what we are talking about here but have you ever noticed why they have two guys working on high voltage lines at a time? Each guy will only use one arm to work with. This is alot safer and reduces the risk of completing the circuit. Just throwing out this useless fact
