Yes, makes for a much more efficient and fast job. Time is money and money is time, especially on storefront.
He also modifies almost all of his channels, “dog earring”, I can’t figure out how to do it but he has videos of a channel he had made for him by a machinist friend and he claims it to be a zero detail squeegee. Basically just clean up the bottom of the frame/sill when you close out.

I only do a few storefronts, and I see some jobs like that in town. Almost all of the edges have a soapy film on them from not detailing. One person might say my style is slower than theirs, but you won’t find a soapy film on my edges, frames, and corners.
He has way to much soap in his solution. he wet those top windows when was he planning on pulling those. He is definitely a good window cleaner though. 30" on the door nice I use 24". How many pouches do ya need though. To each his own I guess.
He’s got a unique style, I could never use that much soap on a window. The belt looks very gnarly and bulk, I wouldn’t need that much on storefront work.
Check out some of his other videos, I know I learned a thing or two from him. But the UK scene is a horse of a different color compared to the US, here the windows vary from region to region a lot more than over there it seems

I really don’t think from what I saw that guy do there that there wont be any soapy film left on his corners either although what was with all the soap especially when he put it directly on the window. that type of ledge could of been wiped down with a sea sponge he wasted his time use his squeegee. I think the reason he didn’t pull his tops was for the video he would of had to detail those type of tops a lot more than what he did on his other stuff.
Nope it isn’t . Doesn’t mean ya do a slop ass job though. You need to devlop your technique for so your efficient for storefront that’s why I say pulling side to side don’t work for stores. If you detail every window like resi you wont make any money. Jmo . plus stores are getting down weekly bi-weekly there cleaner.
