whats a list? do you just tell your resi customers you’ll put them on a list and you just show up and clean them when you have time? no scheduling involved?
Yep thats pretty much it… We give them a window when we are going to show up… Its very helpful because you can organize your day around drive time… and foliage development.
After today we’ll just have a few stray gutter cleans to do this week after window cleaning jobs. Still crankin out window cleanings for the next few weeks too. December is looking pretty good. I hope the weather holds!
Actually yes, we recently finished a 90 condo unit gutter cleaning job last week, Gutter cleaning is great in San Diego right after a decent rain fall. job was for $XX,XXX.00 so it was very nice, thank god for gutters
scheduling around the customers “busy” schedule is extremely non efficient…
those housewives really get me sometimes, ill say we can get you on the schedule on XX date at XX time and all they have to say is “well hmm, that day i have to drop my son off at school, AND i have a lunch date with sue, hmm would you be able to do another day?” If they only knew how much i get done in a day…
Lot of demand in my part of the West Coast – many mature trees throughout the urban areas; pines, oaks, redwood, and cedar thick on rural properties; newer developments still want to maintain their gutters and downspouts.
We went up on our pricing $1/ft and our minimum from $95 to $125. We don’t get every job and have lost a few clients but instead of doing volume and running around for nothing we are definitely running a more profitable gutter season. We have 50 gutter cleanings on top of a full window cleaning week this week - same next week. No complaints here.
