Has anyone used the “Fetch a Review” Feature of Angie’s List? It’s where they send you a spreadsheet template for you to populate with your customer names, addresses ect. You then send the list to them, and they run it through their database to see which of your customers are Angie’s List members. If they find any, they’ll call them and “fetch” a review over the phone.
I have a few privacy concerns with using that method and giving up my customers info to them. I was called not to long ago by Angie’s List because I had used an auto repair shop and they wanted me to give a review.
I always ask my customers if they will leave a review. Some do and some don’t. Some take a while and some do it right away. I have used the fetch feature once and it did bring in a couple but they may have done it anyway.
