Best Window Cleaning solution period

Lol We were just talking about this the other day! So true…

Me too. I have tried everything and all streak or leave this god awful residue. When the window ic clean I see these shiny , almost like oil or wax. It could be because it is hot in TX.As soon as you wipe it on it dries before you can put rubber on it. I even tried to spray and sgueegee immediately after. The other day doing new const windows I ended up going to the stand by windex and Invisible glass. It dried clear yet enough glide to get the residue off. Lately using denatured alcohol, sometimes add vinegar. The centers are fine. Just the corners and edges where the rubber just seems to stop about 1 cm away from edge. Of course the edges are wet and a cloth doesnt help to detail, makes it worse. I have windows I clean daily so residue will build up and make it a night mare. I have even went to just use pure water and pull. Maybe soap is not the solution (pardon the pun). Water, vinegar, alcohol works great but needs a slick something. Maybe a glycerin. Sometimes ammonia works. I’ve even tried citric acid. Its a glass rinse aid. Whatever it is it needs to be clear and dry clear. Maybe I will give Ecover another shot with my alcohol.

Never have used antifreeze
But ya gotta try unclefreeze…

Maybe we all might be ready for my Siamese, or Money Cat. A choice pick from the fab four perhaps? The noionics, anionics, amphoterics, or cationics. Then we always have the silicone syn-dets. Would anyone like to beta test any of these? I’m always ready for the soap wars! They are always so much fun.

Just send me your name, business name, and shipping address. I will be ordering samples of about five different “soaps” on monday.

When using glass gleam products it seems they are the best however in direct sunlight on certain types of windows they leave a haze even if you are faster than superman. So in direct sunlight when having issues switch to straight dish soap or wait for the sunlight to go away.

I prefer to use Citron for soap however it is very expensive, but is recommended for window cleaning unlike most dish washing detergents.

Henry, you know I am always looking for something different. If I can get something to work then It must work well for others.

When I started my Biz, not long ago(about a year) I fell for the Dawn dish soap is the best window cleaner you can find!!!

Long story short, I never got along with Mr.Dawn I would get streaks left and right no matter how I cleaned… So after a while I tried GG3 and wow!!!
I felt it was very forgiving, if you leave some water on the glass, it will simply dry clear no Streak! I do mix it with purified water… But still works great on tap water…

I still have to try GG4, I have a gallon sitting in a shelf…

Just glad I found a product that makes me more confident in what I do… Not to mention I was sick of the Dawn Soap smell! Maybe I had worked too much too long with it but I just hate how it smell now, makes me want to puke

Hi Steve, do you have a stateside supplier?

Now I see that you are not in the states.

GG4 is formulated for hard water areas.
