Thanks Dave. Haven’t heard from you in awhile. Good to you’re still at the video lens.
Hey Phil,
I is here…
Dave
Good to hear. I’m still here too.
Thanks Dave, as usual a very nice vid. A no brainer unless you didn’t think of it and I didn’t. But you did and showed us, now I know.
Experiance is the great teacher.
Perch are starting to hit, got to get out on the lake.

Actually I tried carrying it the wrong way when I first started but the “Son of Ettore” who train me showed me, then I knew…

Great tip Dave. Just shows how much experience you have doing this.
Thanks Mirnes …Carrying your sectionals that way gives one great control !
Dangerous
Yep, Dave taught me that trick on a job we worked together on. He’s pretty smart for a window cleaner;)
Thanks Josh…I learn it from a “SON of ETTORE” , and your so right it is highly functional !

I keep a Velcro strap on the rungs of my collapsed stack. This allows me to put my hand anywhere to carry and keeps them neatly together for transport or movement.
I know Seth prefers an 8’ top, and probably has no issues carrying his stack around easily on one trip.
___________
I do prefer an 8’ top, Lar, and so do my employees. If they weren’t highly functional and useful, I’m guessing they wouldn’t even make an 8’ top. Of course, we have 6’ top sections also, but the 8’ top gets used way more. No problem carrying 4-5 sections at a time, even inside, with the 8’ top. Can you believe it?!?!?! And I wasn’t even taught by a son of ettore.
Son of Ettore? You mean creepy stalker, tbh.
So Sethy are you carrying the sectionals like in the video ? Oh in the video I never said it was hard to carry 4 or 5 sections…If you carry them properly ! Well people born with no arms know how to eat can you believe it ? Cleaners not trained by a “True Son of Ettore” still are cleaners but it’s nice to have been trained by someone who knows what the industry entails, but self training works but it is a bit slower !

With 4 pieces w/8 ft top, how do you go through doors?
Not being a smartass, just honestly asking…
With the 6 foot, I just angle them enough to get under the doorway.
And I though you two ‘blocked’ each other.
Damn troublemaker kids…
So De-twaMan, Do you lift and carry your sectional like in the video ?
Kid-ster Dange
Yeah, about 99% similar. (right arm favored)
I actually grab towards and overlap my fingers over the rail… it lifts and rests more on my forearm when I lift like you did in the video.
But I sometimes pull the bottoms away from me, if I have to forward.
Boy, looking back- this isn’t a very good explanation, sorry.
