Umm, covering outlets is non-negotiable. I don’t want to start an electrical fire, which I have seen happen to other contractors who didn’t do their due diligence. Heck, even with taping, there’s always a chance for faulty siding to let soap mix into the box and fry it up. That’s one of the reasons I carry an ABC extinguisher at all times.
I’d just say, “sounds like we’re not the right company for you. I suggest calling back the guy who did it for $275.”

Can you imagine ? To try and save money , don’t do the gutters , Don’t care for my plants , don’t tape up my outlets , no Soffits, keep bleach off of windows , heck if I said I’ll just spray water for the 275 she’d probably be ok with it.
Hmmmmm if I was desperate spraying water would take an hour maybe less . Sign here , can I use your hose … lol 
All great come backs , but like I said , not even wasting my time with this nonsense.
