The sample I got just seemed like a watered down version of gg4. Before there was a measurement on the site, I used the same measurements as the gg4. It didn’t glide. It didn’t clean the frames. It didn’t remove everyday fingerprints either. I’m really hoping that my sample just sucked because everyone seems to DIG it. I don’t have hard water either. I’m not asking for another sample, but it would be nice.

I was thinking the same, I bought a quart a couple weeks ago to give it another shot. I’ve used about a quarter of it since I got it two weeks ago… The GG4 quart I got in March or so is barely a quarter used. EBC cleans well but I’ve used so much of it compared to the small squirt of gg4 I usually use in my solution.

Well, in my case I added more. Didn’t solve the problem. I’ve remained quiet about this since I first received the sample because I believe in the little man. I thought my experience was just a fluke. Unless everyone else is lying or my sample was diluted, it’s not working for me. I’ve used glisten before, it’s got great slip, but glisten has no finger print removing action though.
I hate that it didn’t work for me and I don’t want to be THAT guy…

Its all good Joseph and your comments are not taken at all in a bad way. We launched GLIDE knowing that it would take many months to continue to 'finesse our blend and formula and also to get it in front of contractors. We are still on that climb LOL. This is the wonderful thing about our business model…we want to include you contractors in the mix of what GLIDE is or is not doing for ya. Your experience falls right in line with what we anticipated and I certainly do not take it personal at all. In the trenches type of feedback is the silver lining for GLIDE and again I appreciate what you said.
On the other side of the coin we are hearing many positive “stuff” about GLIDE regarding cleaning capability, slip and etc.
A few pages back on this thread we discussed some ideas on how to possibly tweak some things about GLIDE based on some of the comments here at WCR. We have arrived to that point where some adjustments were made to accommodate more slip and etc.
I don’t know if the folks at WCR could test this out or even you? Let me know…be happy to send ya 16 oz’s to check out.

Also, we will be attending the show in Nashville. Looking forward in meeting those that are going. I will be hanging around the WCRA Booth. Feel free to come over and shake hands.
Well I have been using the soap for a few weeks now to give it a good run. As Mike ProWindowCleaning said you do end up using a lot more of it (compared to dawn, ecover, GG4 ect…)
I also find that it does have a bleeding to it though.
I bought a quart. I’ve found that on its own it reminds me of GG4- not a great amount of slip, but good cleaning properties and decent on grease. Adding maybe a quarter as much Ecole gets it to where I like it. My brother, found the same basic thing when he used it on my routes.

I have to question you on the finger prints . I had to wait until I got to one of my stops with a massive amount of fimger prints . Now that I reassured myself that the Ebc is the best soap I used for finger prints I’m boggled that you think it doesn’t get finger prints off
As fAr as a comparison with gg4. Gg4 is a great soap also. Can’t reallly say one is better then the other in all around cleaning ability. I just know that the reason I’m switching is cause if the ability to remove finger prints so well . the glide it has is ok for me . It has as much hang time as gg4 which to me is important .
Ebc if your doing things to make it even better that would be a good thing .
