-no joke, isnt there anything else to talk about (not that Im complaining, but?)

Super busy in Sept and October since everyone is getting ready for the holidays and company coming over. October is highest grossing yet. I’m getting calls from repeat customers from March and April that want service twice a year. November is already busy as well. Good luck man. Keep grinding!

Haha, so true. I’ve heard several times this year, “so, you’re doing So-and-So’s place next week, huh?”

November is completely booked Monday to Friday. I dislike working on Saturday’s but more people are calling and I will start doing half day Saturday’s. Make hay while the sun is shining, right?!

lol. Part of me thinks it’s ‘cute.’

  • but then I realize that I was the “goto” conversation, and suddenly find myself in the middle of a Seinfeld episode

I’m by the phone like where did everyone go :skull:

Averaging 3-5 calls and 1-3 website submissions a day for weeks now, I can’t catch a break.
BUT, I have been able to really pick and choose what work I want lately.

I think that’s the better part of success, being able to pick what you want to do lol.

In the beginning you do everything to bring home the cheddar

Same here. It’s been crazy. Still got lots of bids going out and lots of calls coming in.

Crazy but good. I’m booked through week one of December but January is booking up just as fast…that’s weird for me.

Wow , that’s great ! Are you still solo or you got help ?

Back to solo, had one guy full time out in another van… that didn’t work out so well, so we parted ways. Who would have thought having a job meant showing up on time?!

I’m regrouping and going to try hiring again for the spring, I need to do some better training and make sure I’m the best boss next time around.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I’m sure you’ll find some quality help in the spring. :+1:t2::slightly_smiling_face:

We’ll at least you can cherry pick the jobs you want at the price you want . But as we get older , it’s nice to just have someone to do the simple stuff

I just need to get a solid person to be out cleaning windows.
I have found this love of house washing, and the money is amazing, so I would like to be out doing exterior cleaning like that and not miss out on that window cleaning revenue

You’re talking about pressure washing? Is that really more lucrative?

I’m going to be adding power washing for the spring

With the right equipment a $2k day should be minimum, in about 6 hours.

Yesterday’s schedule was:

  1. house wash and gutter cleaning
  2. house wash and gutter cleaning
  3. roof wash, house wash, and gutter cleaning

$2350 on the day, 9am to 3pm, with about an hour total drive time from start of day, between jobs, and back home

I can 100000000% attest that if you’re not doing house/roof washing then you’re not making real money. Absolutely recommend.

Fairness = Those killing it in PWashing right now, please state your location…

Had two last minute cancellations (one had a gas leak and the place is like a construction zone), I filled those two cancellations and also filled the open day I had for the week, and next week is full as well. Working on the second half of after Thanksgiving.
