How much time does using a spray bottle inside a home save you?

I also use sprayway not so much for window cleaning but i dig it for tinting cars. I like. the fact that i do not get the interior so wet with the sprayway because it evaporates quickly. another good glass cleaner is high sheen i like it better. high sheen was made by somaca who was bought by cr lawrance several years ago so now the hi sheen is sold by crl.

inside houses i use sprayers for tinting and squirt bottles with a boab for cleaning. saves time

A 1 girl. Ace sprayer $25.00 is perfect and we have been using a sprayer for 45 years in side and out. Water is always clean!

Just read thru this thread, I thought I would revive it. Hopefully it helps some folks that are new to window cleaning.

I at one time long ago I used spray bottles for interior work.
Too much pumping!!!
( that’s not what mama said …)
Now I use a ecover bottle of my solution carried in a Ettore pouch.
Much mucho better.
Peace

I use the ettore scraper pouch.
Scraper in front
Ecover bottle in back

Thanks for the info. I use the Unger bottle holder. I think the Ecover bottle will fit great in there. I’m assuming you apply the solution straight to the applicator, right?

That is correct sir.
And I wear a ettore sidekick boab.
Practice before you use on a job cuz your hand needs to be self calibrated for the proper solution output

I don’t think the Ecover bottle fits in there. It fits in the ettore pouch much better . The round 24 ounce squeeze bottles fit in the unger bottle holder like Hunterest beastie boy is using either bottle works fine . I switch to Ecover cause well cause the obvious mucho Ecover bottles

This is how I go in a house . Btw there is something missing I usually have a pvb or a sea sponge in a plastic bag in there for Sills an what not . That unger pouch is great for holding your sea sponge also .
Just saying !

I use to always go in with a bucket of water,an my tools in the bucket of water .

So much better without a bucket of water. No need for it , it was just the way I was taught. I can put everything I need inside that bucket I can even leav it in a room, or hallway, an not have to go back for a dip because I always have a bottle of solution on my side . No need to carry a bunch of stuff on your belt we are cleaning windows not replacing them . Jmo

To be honest,
I go both ways.
I have a tote with my ā€œReziā€ gear ready to go.
I used to use it exclusively,
Then it went to ā€œdepends on the houseā€ whether I used the tote or belt.
Last season I was 80% belt for interior.
Since I am minimalist and a professed non-jangler I don’t have much on my belt. I hate walking around Makeing that ā€œjanglingā€ noise a overloaded belt can make.

You’re right about the bottle not fitting. I got a couple of soft drink bottles and drilled a small hole in the cap…fits great and works PERFECTLY…That’s what I love about this forum, so much great advice! I tried this on a storefront job today that has 40 panes, with no practice or anything. Took 15 minutes off my time! (I also bumped up to my 18" Wagtail, but I really think the squirt bottle made the biggest difference)

Yeah
I love the squirt,
But I can’t use it on storefronts dureing the summer.
But summers Still a couple days away here in tejas.

Is that what you use Garrett? I have been using a small squirt bottle inside homes. Saves a ton of time!

I really like the pump sprayer- the manual sprayers made my hands tire quickly. I’ve been using a half gallon one. I found it works nicely in winter when I don’t want to dip my scrubber in the water while wearing gloves. Though, that’s too heavy to use full - if less than half full, you have to pump it more often to keep the pressure up. and I’ve dropped it which broke the handle, so I’m looking for a new one.

I’ve never had much luck with any manual spray bottle like you have there lasting more than two days.

I will look into the pump sprayer. Thanks!

I use dawn dish soap and use the empty bottles to hold my solution for both interior and exterior. This way my bucket water doesn’t get to dirty and I don’t wash a window with dirty water
